Roger Thomas Kent, MA, PMP, Instructor

Roger Thomas Kent’s lively training style has been engaging Griffin Tate Group’s clients for over three years. His success as an instructor stems from 11 years experience in project management training -- including scheduling, communication and leadership. He has taught in China, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Singapore and Kazakhstan.

Roger teaches “Essential Skills in Managing Projects” and “MS Project” for the Griffin Tate Group. He owns and operates a training company in the San Francisco Bay Area. A consultant on major projects around the world, Roger has worked with Global organizations like Hewlett Packard, United Airlines, Capital One, Amoco, Conoco Phillips, Fair Isaac and the Bank for International Settlements. Prior to building his successful training business, Roger taught for the European Division of the University of Maryland for seven years. A world traveler, Roger recently put his project know-how to the test, sailing over 800 miles of open ocean from the Canary Islands to Africa. He lectures in French, German and Italian; and has a working skill level in Spanish and Russian. Roger holds a Master of the Arts in Communications from Norwich University. He is an active PMI® member.
